I have known Chris and Sophie for a few years, from repairing their jewellery and Chris asked me to make Sophie's engagement ring in 2012. I couldn't believe how the time has flown by and they are now making their own wedding rings and getting married in August. They decided to make their wedding rings match the thickness of Sophie's engagement ring, which is 2mm thick. When making any wedding rings, the thicker the ring the tougher it is. So we had to anneal the metal a few times to help make the metal softer and easier to shape.
