Four mini crosses made from recycled ring

Do you have a piece of jewellery that is sentimental but would rather have it made into something new?

Recycling your old gold and silver is the best way to keep hold onto your original metal whilst creating a new piece that you will love to wear!

The commission below was to recycle a sentimental gold ring to create four identical mini crosses for pendants as gifts.
The photos show the main stages of how we went from the gold ring to the final four crosses, starting by melting down the ring into blobs of gold, then rolling out the gold to the correct widths, cutting the strip into the right lengths for the crosses, soldering the crosses together, soldering the rings on top to attach to a chain, then finally finishing and polishing.
