Gold Celtic ring fixed and made stronger

Delicate jewellery is most likely to become damage, and has a higher chance of breaking. Pieces that have a lot of intricate detail or the metal is made very thin usually is the jewellery that is most common to crack, snap and break.

A customer brought in the ring below which was very thin, made from gold with a Celtic design, because of the intricate design along with the thin width, the ring easily split on the side and the ring shape became irregular.
Along with repairing the side of the ring that had cracked, I decided to solder gold into a small section at the end of the design, close to where the cracks had occurred, this made the ring stronger and more sturdy.
