Sentimental engagement ring alterations
Have you inherited a ring that is broken or damaged? Or a piece of jewellery that you never wear as it is no longer your style?
The photos below are of a couple of rings we recently worked on using our repairs and alterations service.
The first one was a three stone engagement ring, overtime the setting on the ring had become worn and one of the diamonds was missing. As a surprise for his wife for Christmas our customer decided to have the ring repaired. Wanting to keep the original style & design we replaced the setting with a new stronger one to sit in the existing band, and replaced the diamonds.
The second engagement ring was inherited by the customer. She wanted to replace the yellow & white gold band with a thicker one in yellow gold. We was able to to create a new band to fit with the existing vintage setting.
