Curved to straight ring alteration

Along with our jewellery repairs we also offer a alteration service, this is great for rings that you wish to alter whether it be the size, shape or detail.

The ring below was brought in to the altered, the ring had a curved detail that she wanted to make straight. For this alteration I had to cut open the ring where the curve was and remove a small part in order to straighten each sides back together. Once the ring was straight it was soldered back together, finished and polished. The ring looked like a brand new ring and was cheaper than buying another ring.
